COURSE DESCRIPTION

Designed for aspiring actors looking to expand on beginner level screen acting techniques, the course offers an in depth tour into camera acting. The course covers essential Topics in: Character work, Facial Awareness, Confidence, Mastering Presence, Continuity, Camera Angles and Sizes, and Set Survival.

A key focus of the course is for participants to learn how to work with other actors on camera, workshopping on-screen relationships.

We’ll spend time learning how to‘play the camera’ as actors get to know the requirements of different shots, angles and sizes.

Through specific, exercises attendees will learn how to position themselves in front of the camera, maximising impact. While improving body and facial awareness, actors gain mastery, confidence and control under the very ‘unnatural’ setting that is the film set.
